Currently, Mastercam software is very popularly used in most domestic and foreign enterprises and mechanical processing workshops because Mastercam’s machining features are excellent.

MasterCam can design 2D directly, then build a 3D model and from there create an efficient and optimal machining program. MasterCam’s strengths are evaluated in the field of 2D and 3D machining programming, with good quality and fast programming time and fast part processing.

If you already have got SSQ’s USB-Emulator for Mastercam X4-X8 installed you do not need to re-installed it (skip step 3).

1. Install MasterCAM X9 (v18.0.11898.0) Win64. Select SIM Type HASP or NetHASP

2. Copy file all files and folders from “mcamX9” Cr@ck folder to <mastercam X9 progdir> (by default C:\Program Files\mcamX9\ ) and overwrite original ones

3. Install USB-Emulator

ATTENTION!
To install emulator you need Administrator rights!
To install emulator for 64bit Win Vista or Win7 you need to boot computer in mofe F8 > “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement”
Moreover you need to use boot mode F8 > “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement” at every reboot of computer!

3.1. Copy folder “USB_Emul_Win64” to C:

3.2. Run (as Administrator) “mcam_X5_X9_hasp_SSQ.reg” for SIM Type > HASP setup or “mcam_X5_X9_nethasp_SSQ.reg” for SIM Type > NetHASP and confirm to add info in Windows Registry

3.3. Run ..\USB_Emul_Win64\install.bat and wait until system will find and install new devices

If setup is succesfull you have to see new devices:

Device Manager -> Universal Serial Bus controllers -> SafNet inc. HASP key
Device Manager -> Universal Serial Bus controllers -> SafNet inc. USB key
