PTC Creo Expert Moldbase Extension(EMX) is a plastic injection molding software. With this program, users can design their own plastic molds in a familiar two-dimensional environment. To take advantage of the benefits of 3D design, the program will automatically generate and provide a 3D model of the template.

The resulting 3D models are used in the mold production process to check the accuracy of the design, and they are also used to produce detailed maps and BOMs.
