More Precise Thermal Modeling
Altair FluxMotor is a multiphysics tool providing thermal analysis of motors. An even more precise modelling of the machine with its frame, end caps, shaft, and bearings is provided with this new version by adding more nodes in the thermal network.
The following picture gives an example (for the synchronous machine with permanent magnets) of a simple thermal circuit, including the main resistances corresponding to the default synchronous magnet machine, where the frame, the two end caps, the shaft and the bearings have been added.
A new “use case” for the winding definition expert mode
The GUI can be displayed in Chinese and Japanese languages
