LiDAR360 v9.0 (released September 2025) delivers major upgrades in preprocessing, data management, classification, and model conversion, plus bug fixes in v9.0.1 (November 2025). It adds deep learning–based ground classification, expanded raster/vector tools, and broader format conversions, making it more versatile for forestry, mining, terrain, and infrastructure workflows.

1. Preprocessing & Registration

  • UAV LiDAR accuracy calibration and equipment calibration records.
  • Point cloud accuracy checks for quality assurance.
  • Control point target recognition (including X-type targets).
  • Automatic matching of control point pairs for registration.
  • Extended format support: tables, spectra, models.

2. Data Management Tools

  • Point cloud attribute calculator → compute new features from attributes.
  • Spectral attribute assignment for point clouds.
  • Improved tiling & merging of multiple files.
  • Polygon clipping with inner rings.
  • Raster tools: define NoData, clip by polygon/rectangle/circle, extract by mask/attributes, composite bands, color composites.
  • Vector tools: clip, merge, remove duplicates, split by attributes.
