Siemens PLM NX 10

Siemens PLM NX or NX for short, formerly NX Unigraphics or commonly abbreviated as U-G, is a CAD/CAM/CAE software package first developed by Unigraphics, but since 2007 by Siemens Software develop.

Siemens NX is used for the following purposes

  • Design: Parametric and for direct face/volume shaping
  • Technical analysis (static, dynamic, magnetic, thermal, using the finite element method, and in liquid analysis using the finite volume method).
  • Machining: Used in machining modules.
